Congratulations to both Bobby Carroll and Liam Coughlan who were part of the Cork Minor team who won the Munster final at the weekend. Captain Bobby Carroll delighted the crowds when he raised the cup after Cork’s 1-20 to 2-15 victory over Waterford. They were welcomed back home with a parade from Dromina down to Newtownshandrum as family and friends came out to applaud them. Since their win they have delighted the school children of the parish over the week as they visited the schools with their cup. Well done lads.
