Dear Parishioners,

As you may be aware, a large number of households in the parish remain without water following last week’s extreme weather.  

We have been advised by Irish Water that the reservoir has been unable to refill to required level due to a number of factors which appear difficult to resolve in the very short term. 

While they continue to work on the issue, it is vitally important that all households ensure taps are turned off immediately after use and are not left running unnecessarily as this is placing further pressure on local supply. 

Please also ensure that any leaks or pipe bursts are reported immediately to Irish Water by phoning the helpline: 1800 278 278.
